The Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC) has been asked to share the following information regarding the 6th Annual Full Moon Memory Walk on behalf of: the Ontario Native Women’s Association, Biidaajwun Inc. Lakehead University Native Students Association, Beendigen Inc., Thunder Bay Indian Friendship Centre, Wawatay Print Services, Siouz Lookout First Nations Health Authority, CAW local 229, Fort William First Nation.
What: The 6th Annual Full Moon Memory Walk to honour and remember the lives of murdered and missing Anishinabe and Métis Women.
Who: Family, Friends and anyone who wish to offer their support for murdered and missing Anishinabe and Métis women.
When: 6:00 p.m. September 23, 2010
Where: Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The Walk will begin at the corner of Simpson St. and Victoria Avenue. We will proceed north along Simpson Street, turning right at Pacific Avenue Bridge, east to the end of Pacific Avenue until we reach 110th Ave where we will turn left until we reach the Neebing-McIntyre floodway.
